Applies to: Local agencies without a single niche

I serve local businesses of every type. What should I build and lead with?

If you do not know which niche your next client will be in, do not build everything up front. Build one demo agent, for one niche or for your own business, that you can show off, and spend the same energy getting a client. Build the solution once you know the client's niche. Building systems for niches you may never get is wasted time.

For your website there are two approaches. You can position around serving all businesses in your area and focus on relationships, rapport and trust with local connections. Or you can lead with an outcome nearly every business wants, such as more reviews, and list the industries you work with below it. Leading with the outcome that speaks to the most niches works well.

If you target a group such as home services, focus on a shared outcome like more booked service appointments and give examples of the businesses you work with. You can give the AI assistant your list of target businesses, see what it builds, and ask it to redo the page if you do not like it.
